The Decisional Balance

When faced with ambivalence, a useful exercise is the decisional balance which is a 2 x 2 matrix that lists the pros and cons of change.  This is a useful tool that can help explore ambivalence and it can also be used to reflect on how to go about generating change thoughts or talk.
